The gym was full of joyful music this morning as the Royal Oak School community celebrated Music Monday together! We opened with a massive line dance to Paul Brandt's Alberta Bound, then each grade group shared their own special song. And then everyone -students, families and staff - stood together to sing the traditional song, Siyahamba, moving as a united community to march in the light of peace, hope and love! As we shared our music, we were also sharing our pride, our energy and our happiness, building and strengthening relationships old and new. What a wonderful way to start our week!
